I want to get back to updating somewhat regularly so here. Pen doodle, taken with my cell phone’s camera, colored with a mouse in photoshop.

I don’t know anything about drawing armor and I don’t know why I am trying but I’ve been listening to pixel kingdom and I think the young protagonist + her funny dog are the coolest so here we are.

Ive been trying to come up with a ‘red wasp’ logo for an insurance company catering to the hybrid car market. I hast to ‘evoke the power displayed by these vehicles while still showing they don’t harm the environment.’ I popped the first sketch in the photo set out in the first 5 minutes of my imaging science class, but im still not really sure what im doing. This was the sketch I had before that:

Wowza. I was cleaning out my inbox and I found these old drawing requests that I ask for nearly a year ago. I never actually drew them because this happened, but here I am, following through, a year later.

Favorite character from the last thing I watched: Michone (Sorry Glen)
Favorite character from the last thing I read: Roxy Lalonde (it was between her and The Condesce because they were the only characters in the last update.)
Zombie: I did have fun with that. I put a giant worm in his head for realism. 

(The whole point of me asking for requests initially was because i wanted to test out my new tablet, but now that same tablet is broken, so these ended up being hand drawn. Ha.)

I bet that anon doesn’t even follow me anymore.

also, protip, if you scribble in a color and then do the lineart in pen, then you can just delete the color alpha channels in photoshop to get clean lineart. BOOYAH

Drawing my favorite poky-mans in a little more realistic style. Inspiration for leafeon was a fennec fox. Inspiration for sableye was a secretcat tshirt that I saw last year and regret to this day not buying when I had the chance.

More of that smoke girl. I thought it might be cool to have some visible glowing under her skin, like she has a furnace in her chest. Maybe coal imbedded in her palms too? I dunno. Also, you totally know she’d have ‘creating a distraction’ thing covered whenever needed.

I’m trying to draw and challenge myself a bit more. So this was me quickly trying to come up with some characters with unconventional super powers.

The first is… ropes. I haven’t thought it through very far. Did you know the Mayans believed that their deities gave humans life with their own godly blood, and that humans had to give it back through ritual blood letting? One pretty brutal way was to run a barbed piece of rope through a hole in their tongue. I learned that in high school. Maybe this dude gets his power from his gods, and it’s controlled by his blood. And then he can make, like, blood ropes, to attack with. That’d be pretty intense.

The second is just a girl making smoke. Fire is a really common super power. who wants to see that again. but smoke? that’s like all the fun of fire but with none of the offensive POW. I think it’d be interesting to watch someone try and figure out and use an element like that to their advantage.
She’s all dirty because of the soot from the smoke. And her eyes are supposed to look like coal.
